1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using PrepSync in any way, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age, have read and understood these Terms, and agree to be bound by them. If you do not agree, do not use our platform.

2. Description of Service

PrepSync is a technical interview preparation platform that provides:

AI-powered mock interview sessions with real-time feedback
Curated coding challenges with an integrated code editor and execution engine
Job-tailored interview preparation based on job descriptions
Performance tracking, leaderboards, and readiness scoring

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to:

Provide accurate and complete registration information
Keep your password secure and not share it with others
Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
Not create multiple accounts to circumvent usage limits

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use PrepSync to:

Attempt to manipulate, jailbreak, or extract system prompts from our AI interviewer
Share interview questions or AI responses publicly to gain unfair advantage
Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to interact with the platform
Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code
Violate any applicable laws or regulations
Harass, abuse, or harm other users

5. Free and Premium Plans

PrepSync offers both free and premium subscription tiers:

Free Plan: Limited to 2 AI mock interviews per day and 2 CV interviews per day, plus access to standard coding challenges.
Starter Plan (₦3,500/month): 4 AI interviews per day, 4 CV interviews per day, hard questions, and full detailed reports.
Pro Plan (₦6,000/month): 30 AI interviews per day, 30 CV interviews per day, premium badges, and priority support.

We reserve the right to modify plan features and pricing with reasonable notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

6. Interview Integrity

Our AI interview sessions include proctoring features such as tab-switch detection and camera monitoring. These measures exist to simulate real interview conditions and ensure the integrity of your practice sessions. Attempting to circumvent these measures may result in session termination.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on PrepSync — including coding challenges, AI interview questions, UI design, and platform architecture — is the intellectual property of PrepSync. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our explicit written permission.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

PrepSync is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that our platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will help you pass any specific interview. Interview preparation outcomes depend on individual effort and circumstances beyond our control.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PrepSync shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or failure to secure employment.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or any conduct we deem harmful to the platform or its users. You may also delete your account at any time by contacting us.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of PrepSync after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
